Further arround the city there are some club like club 11, Panama or Sugar factory. Other dance events are organized at the Rai, Amsterdam Arena or heineken music hall

Cafe the kroon

Nightlife Amsterdam at Rembrandtplein cafe de Kroon

No visit to Amsterdam is complete without a visit to a Grand Café and Café De Kroon is one of the best. Whether it's for morning coffee, an afternoon lunch, a graceful evening dinner or just drinks, this venue never disappoints and as well as being an ideal place for relaxation, it is also perfect for those who need to discuss business. The café can be found on the first floor of one of the biggest buildings on Rembrandtplein. Don't be fooled by the relatively small entrance, because once upstairs, you will be taken aback by its size and splendour. The food menu is impressive both during the day and at night, and as you would expect, the service is also exceptional.

Jantje verjaardag / Club JV

Club JV Amsterdam

Translated in English, the name means Jantje's Birthday and this certainly is a venue you could associate with celebration, as almost every night is a party night. It's one of the biggest of the many party bars in the Rembrandtplein area and can be found on one of the corners of Rembrandt Square. It also incorporates Club JV, one of the newest and most happening clubs in the city. At weekends, Club JV comes to life and is gaining a reputation for being one of the top hotspots in the city. Keep an eye out for their special theme nights and after parties, which are always electrifying and very original. To find out exactly what party tickles your fancy, it is worth checking the exterior of the building as they always advertise their upcoming events there.

Sinners in Heaven

Located in one of the small streets just off Rembrandtplein, Sinners In Heaven has been attracting Amsterdam’s young and trendy party-people for as long as we can remember. Revelers can choose from two floors, one of which offers modern and popular house and the other concentrates on Urban. Always a good atmosphere inside and the Djs tend to be top notch.

De Heeren Van Aemstel

Situated on neighbouring Thorbeckeplein this is without doubt one of the finest live music bars you will find in any city. Live music is on the agenda almost every night as an array of groups and artists belt out everything from original songs to covers. They perform on a large stage at the back of the bar and no matter where you are positioned, a good view is guaranteed. The venue has long been regarded as one of Amsterdam’s best launching pads for seekers of stardom. It’s also a great place to visit during the day, thanks to a constant lively atmosphere, hospitable service and the outdoor terrace which looks out to Thorbeckeplein. Also very popular for business people wanting a post-work drink.
