Queendays Amsterdam
Every year Amsterdam is turned upside down for the biggest and most spectacular event of the netherlands "Queenday". One day a year there is a free flee market in all the center and a lot of other places. The street are fun of grazy orange drunk partiing people. The canal are full of boats. You can find big events in the Museumplein, Leidseplein, the damsquare, Everyone will empty their attic and sell it. In the vondel park, you will find a lot kids selling their old toys and stuff.
A day after Remembrance Day comes Liberation Day, a celebration of freedom which is dividedinto two manifestations. At the end of june/beginning of july the dance event takes place in the Amsterdam arena. over 40.000 people join the colored event every year. Sensation is spread over 2 days. the first day is white dresscode, 2th day black dresscode. Tickets are for sail for 57,50 euro.
